Sebacic Acid is a 100% bioderived C10 di-acid strategic raw material used in the manufacture of specialty nylons, high value esters and other derivatives, and is often a component in corrosion inhibition formulations for engine coolants, etc. Today, 100% of US demand for Sebacic Acid is predominantly imported from China, India, and Oman, placing these supply lines at risk due to US trade posture and geopolitical uncertainties. The lack of US production will soon change as a result of a project I am involved in that will bring limited production onto US soil. If your company wants to backstop your reliance on imported Sebacic Acid with a portion of your requirement coming from a US production asset, please contact me asap so you can be included on a list of interested parties across whom available US capacity may be allocated.

With 30+ years of commercial, technical, and supply chain experience in polyoxyalkylated nonionic surfactants (ethoxylates and propoxylates), I am now available and uniquely equipped to assist you in making strategic manufacturer, raw material, and product selection decisions.
My background includes sales, marketing, asset optimization, and business management experience with back integrated world scale producers of ethoxylates and propoxylates operating some of the largest alkoxylation reactors in the United States. I have experience in hydrophobe and hydrophile selection and sourcing options, critical for supply chain integrity of this class of nonionic surfactants.
I also have considerable experience with laser focused specialty alkoxylators who are capable of designing and commercializing higher value specialty nonionic surfactants, tailor made to meet your unique requirements. Whether your need is for alcohol ethoxylates, alcohol alkoxylates, EO-PO-EO or PO-EO-PO block surfactants, I am confident I can assist you in supply chain decision making.
With new U.S. Gulf Coast alkoxylation capacity coming online in 2025/2026, this presents an opportune time to consider new supplier engagements where you are treated as a valued and strategic customer as opposed to being just another buyer of ethoxylates and/or propoxylates in a long line of customers floundering in the supply chain pool of irrelevance.
I welcome your inquiries on this subject matter.
